Matthew Norick

Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine

Hi, I’m Matthew Norick RAc Registered Acupuncturist and Practitioner of Chinese Medicines.

I am one of the most experienced and elite acupuncturists in Regina and Southern Saskatchewan. I have decades of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture experience and training in treating some of the most complex conditions…. But I treat simple and stubborn conditions as well. I really enjoy the satisfaction of helping improve people’s health and have a high rate of success.

Acupuncture is my primary treatment modality which I often use along with Infrared Heat therapy and Fire-cupping. In my time studying in South Korea I saw Traditional Chinese Medicine always prescribed with Acupuncture- so I often prescribe Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicines and have one of the largest TCM Herbal dispensary’s in Saskatchewan! Counselling on the optimal timing of treatments and how our environment impacts our health as well as discussing Food and Exercise Therapy and meditation are also important to bring about a resolution of imbalance, for preventing reoccurring disease patterns, and for health optimization and harmony.

I hope to take the time to listen to my patients concerns and have the skill to employ traditional methods of assessment to properly diagnose and treat their imbalances. When you come for a treatment expect me to use Traditional Tongue Diagnosis, Traditional Pulse Diagnosis, Palpation, and other assessments using my senses to diagnose imbalances.

I hold a 4 year Diploma in Traditional Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture and belong to both the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in B.C. as well as our Provincial Saskatchewan Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture Association. As a result my treatments are covered under most private heath plans.

Traditional Chinese Medicine is all about achieving harmony. My wife, three young kids, and I do our best to live harmoniously. Let’s see how Traditional Chinese Medicine can bring you into a greater state of harmony as well!

Osteopathic Manual Therapy & Massage Therapy

My journey into osteopathic care began in 2013 during my second pregnancy, when I experienced firsthand the profound impact Manual Osteopathic Therapy can have on both the body and the whole person. That experience sparked a deep and lasting connection to this profession, one that felt intuitive, meaningful, and closely aligned with my belief that health and healing should be approached with a holistic, patient-centered focus.

With over 16 years of experience working in and alongside health-related fields, I bring a broad and well-rounded understanding of the body, as well as a strong appreciation for compassionate, individualized care. In addition to my clinical training, I spent several years working as a doula, supporting women and families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.

I am deeply committed to continued learning and regularly pursue advanced education to ensure I provide my patients with the most current, evidence-informed treatment approaches. I completed my training at Western College of Remedial Massage Therapy and continued my osteopathic education at the Manual Osteopathic College of Canada, where I graduated with great distinction.

I genuinely love the work I do and feel grateful every day to support patients in reducing pain, restoring balance, and improving their overall quality of life. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where individuals feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout their health journey.

Outside of the clinic, I am a busy mom to two energetic sport loving boys and share life with my husband. As a family, we enjoy spending time outdoors camping, visiting the farm, travelling, and cheering on our favorite sports teams. This balance keeps me grounded and connected to the real-life demands my patients face, allowing me to approach care with both professional insight and personal understanding.

Stronger Identity. Clearer Purpose. Lasting Connection. These changes can be among the most important for creating the life you want with the people you love.

You care deeply about building lifelong relationships, but you’re also busy. I love helping people discover: new depths of connection and intimacy with their partner; turn conflicts into constructive conversations; identify and communicate what they’re experiencing; and live with greater peace at home

Since 2021, I’ve been focused on finding the most effective ways I can support individuals and families. I spent a decade working in the trades and mentoring teens, young men, and families in the non-profit sector before returning to school for an M.A. to build a career as a Counsellor and Couple and Family Therapist. Throughout my journey, I’ve met so many people who might have similar concerns as you — concerns that your peace and joy are blocked by not knowing if you’re good enough; difficulty finding the right depth of confidence; or experiencing uncertainty about your role and purpose.

The approach I’ve found with the most potential is called Narrative Therapy. Working with me to use Narrative Therapy, you can better understand the stories shaping your relationships, and position yourself to rewrite them into new patterns that create lasting peace and connection. If we lean into this all the way, you’ll receive a personalized therapeutic letter after each session—a letter created specifically to support you in the changes you’re working on between appointments. Why would you want this? Research indicates that therapeutic letters more than double the benefits of a counselling session. That way, you can make the most of your time in counselling and get back to enjoying the relationships you want.

In my professional practice, I work with individuals, couples and families. Recently, I’ve been developing a counselling specialty in men’s mental, emotional, and relational health, both in my work with individuals and couples. In my spare time, I enjoy climbing, reading, playing board games, and travelling with my family when we can fit it in.

Deanna Dalziel

Reiki Master & Teacher

My journey to being an energy healer and reiki master/teacher began at my first reiki experience in 2017. Without an understanding of what reiki even was, or what it had the potential to do for me, I lay down on the practitioners table and opened my mind to accept whatever was coming, in hopes of any help I could get for the chronic pain condition I suffered with.

Then to put it simply, reiki changed my life. It changed my understanding of existence, of the potential we have as humans to heal ourselves and to help facilitate the healing of others, of the energy we have available to us for greater understanding and potential, it changed what I saw as my career and my role in the community…maybe not in that first hour, but it certainly got me started on to what very quickly turned into my passion and purpose.

Receiving reiki that first day was the beginning of an ever-evolving dedication to education, in several healing modalities, and to a personal growth that today allows me to be a part of the natural healing community that is so integral in supporting western and preventive medicine. I am proud to be able to compassionately and confidently support you on your journey.

Whether it's physical, emotional, spiritual, or a combination of all three, the energy work, relaxation, teaching, and guidance that I offer are proven to increase your health, joy, and clarity!

I offer many services here at the Lorne Street Clinic, and in addition, you will find animal services, distance services, teaching, and mentorship; available for booking through my individual online booking, with a direct link found on the “Services” page.

When I am not offering sessions and classes, working towards a bachelor's degree in metaphysical sciences, and running another little heart centered business, you can find me enjoying balance and grounding through cabin renovation and lake life at White Bear Lake Sk., taking in healing expos and events, and spending time with family and friends across western Canada. All of this with the love of my life at my side, Tank, a little 15-pound terrier mix who is always up for any adventure I point him towards and has many travel and paddleboard miles under his collar!

Melanie Phillips

Massage Therapist

I want to help you "Get Back To It" whatever "it" is. Here is my story...
My journey into massage therapy began back in 1995 when I began pursuing a degree in kinesiology and physical education. As a child I was always quite physically active. I was always outside riding my bike, and playing with friends in the neighborhood, I was never one to sit around in the house. As I grew up and moved into my teen years I started to pursue track and field and cross country running. Then into my late teens and early 20's I became involved in body building, strength training, and then later martial arts.
I was also still heavily into long distance running. In the last 6 years I have been participating in the Queen City Marathons 5k, 10k, and half marathon runs, coming in the top 15 in my category of every race.

My experience in athletics and various injuries that have occurred through this has led me to a deep understanding of the body. This in turn led me to pursue a career in massage therapy. I completed my training in July 2025 at Prairie College of Massage Therapy and graduated with honors with distinction.
My background in kinesiology and my athletic pursuits have aided me well when it comes to helping my  patients recover from sports related injuries, postural issues, and chronic pain. I have a passion for exercise prescription and home care to empower my patients to take control of their own healing. I tailor all my treatments specifically to my patients and their needs. I work with my patients to come up with a progressive treatment plan that will help them return to their optimal state of being so that they can get back to doing the things they love pain free.
When I am not at the clinic, I can be found running around Wascana Lake, enjoying coffee and a good book or an intense psychological thriller movie, spending time with my 3 young adult children and many pets, and going on dates with my husband, the love of my life. This work/life balance is essential for me to bring a real understanding to the needs of my patients at the clinic.

Cathie Werner-McRorie

Electrologist

Electrolysis is the only FDA-approved method of permanent hair removal, offering a precise and reliable solution for those seeking lasting results. This treatment works by delivering a small, controlled amount of energy to each individual hair follicle, effectively destroying the growth cells so that the follicle can no longer produce hair. Because of its accuracy, electrolysis is both highly effective and safe for all hair colors and skin types.

At Catharine Werner Electrolysis Clinic, treatments are tailored to provide a comfortable, professional experience while achieving true, lifelong hair removal. Whether you’re dealing with coarse, fine, or hormonally influenced hair, electrolysis offers a solution that goes beyond temporary fixes. Unlike laser, waxing, or sugaring, this method targets the follicle itself—meaning once a hair is treated successfully, it’s gone for good.

Electrolysis is also incredibly versatile. It works on all areas of the body, including delicate or stubborn regions such as the chin, upper lip, brows, bikini line, abdomen, nipples, and even smaller areas like the fingers and toes. It’s especially beneficial for areas where other hair removal methods haven’t delivered the desired results.

Many clients wonder what to expect from treatment. Sensations are often described as a quick, warm “zap,” with modern techniques making the process very tolerable. Because hair grows in cycles, multiple sessions are needed to target each follicle at the right stage of growth, but with consistency, you’ll see steady and permanent progress. With over a century of safe use and a strong track record of effectiveness, electrolysis remains the gold standard for permanent hair removal.
